Le sigh. We got Bill’s grades: A in English, B in economics, and D in math. “I thought I was doing better!” he says, although he got 60s on his recent tests. He can take it again in the fall under closer supervision, with restrictions on his free hours.
The time is now for him to learn what to do about a class that isn’t easy.
Re: math. I had to concentrate on algebra, trig and calc, but for some reason plane geometry made sense and I sailed through it.
Math was always difficult for me, especially algebra. Oddly enough, I use it in cooking, sewing and most crafts.
