A durabarrel looks like a half-barrel oak thingie but it’s made of recycled plastic stuff (made in the 90’s). Reputed to last >20 years. Ours have held up well. Somehow, I think plastic buckets would do as well. The durabarrels are more aesthetically pleasant.
