We have Mojave Max (instead of Punxatawnee Phil) to let us know that summer is here. Max is a desert tortoise, and hibernates in the winter. He won’t come out until the ground is warm enough to warm his blood all the way through his body.
He’s rather endearing, in an ugly sort of way...

I’m a little tired (what’s new?) but not too bad. I’m up and dressed, but we’ve already had a power failure this morning, so I think we are going to have a hot summer.
I have both fans running, now but they are on Low. Just enough move the air.
How are things in your house? Did you manage to get Bill up and moving?

Yes, Bill got out the door on time. I’ve been watching some videos on the Beeber with the byos, but took a break to give Kathleen a bath.
Pat is “eradicating and jettisoning” flies for us.

That should keep Patrick busy for a bit. I’m sure he may even take his lightning reflexes outside and see if he can lure some unsuspecting insects into his trap. What a concept!
I’m going to walk down to a new store I found. Farther than the 7/11 but cheaper and larger.

Jamie-our-hairdresser came over to do some Scouting paperwork. She doesn’t have a printer at home. Not sure what we’ll do next.

To: Silentgypsy
Next month, but I haven’t decided what day, yet, since Mother’s Day and my daughter’s birthday are also next month... *snirt*

"Flamingos and aardvarks are incompatible?" It was our Undead Thread topic for May of last year.
They said anteater, but that's only because they don't speak Dutch in Sweden.

That thread had pangolin, too, and I think it's where Scoutmaster became a recurring Undeadster.

And also, I have a considerable variance in my space-time continuum due to being so close to Pat. What’s a month here or there, when you’re awash in the waves of plasma?

With a tale. Pillbugs aren’t insects, you know. Tom explained; they learned crawlies for Envirothon.
