I was just thinking that, based only on that one fact. The stories I could tell.
With International Scouts, I swap neckers and often plastic or metal nameplates (some of which aren't always Scouting nameplates). Ichi learned as a Tenderfoot or so to tap into my box of nameplates whenever he put on a uniform, and would randomly be Geof from Australia, Iyapo from Nigeria, Dae-Jung from Korea, Karin from Sweden, or Gisli from Iceland. So for maybe five years as a Scout, wherever he went, strangers were addressing him by odd names, girls' names, or puzzling over kanji.
At his Eagle Scout ceremony, he was a physician, only because nobody who knew him would have expected anything less.

Yes, it is!
Mt. Charleston got a foot of snow, and the rest of us got between 1/4” and 3/4” of rain. Much needed of course.
Happy Sunday to you! Are you feeling better? Is your funny bone healing?

We’ve never had a white cat.
I’ve just been for my “at least 17 minutes of exercise” this morning. We’ll have to go over today’s music when DP and Ash get back from her walk.

White cats with blue eyes are more often deaf than not. I don't know what the correlation is, but I know it's true. The Stig and I are warming up, little by little.

Downloading Skyrim mods and eating leftover takeout.
Yesterday we found a bar in the basement of Congress Hall, which is a hotel in Cape May proper, and things went on from there.

Reading a book. It came up in conversation elsewhere.
Doorways in the Sand, Roger Zelazny.
You guys would like it. I've read it before, but it has been so long ago that I need to read it again to finish remembering it.

It just came up in conversation here recently, because of the thingie that got into the guy’s bloodstream while he was drunk.

Bill doesnt even have a name tag.I don't know of any youth that have name tags, except for those issued for a National Scout Jamboree, a World Scout Jamboree, or a special International Trip.
That's what made his noticeable. 300 Scouts at a Camp-o-ree, and he's the only Scout wearing one (and it says "Kazuhiko Shoji, Yamagata Prefecture"). Or the Troop stops at a fast-food restaurant on the way back from a weekend trip and he's the only youth with us who has a name tag. "Steve Larson" (he's not Steve and we're not Larsons).
Ichi didn't have a chance. 50% of his genetic material came from me, plus there's that whole nurture versus nature thing with being around me, too.
I owe that kid an apology.
