Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu

The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

The good thing is, he and sion can have a play-off, now. I bet they are enjoying each other!

I like renaissance music. And chamber music. But then, I’m a little wierd in my family.

They’ll have a fine band on the other side. So many great performers died too young ... Jimmie Rodgers, only 36. I look forward to hearing him “live,” as it were ...

Yepper. It is sad to see them leave us, but their talents are not gone. And who is to say they aren’t the muses for newcomers to Earth?

Update: My son was not happy with my decision, but it wasn’t up to him. They can still insure me, but I won’t answer any medical questions. And, of course, he got his back up, but I think it was probably guilt in the guise of something else. Some days, he reminds me so much of his father, it scares me. *shudder*

‘morning, y’all!

Scary storm yesterday. Power out only three hours, though. Best report of wind speed from city about 52 miles away (57 mph.) Trees and power lines down all over the place. Crowbar the Dog was terrified. Catz didn’t give a rip. Power came back on in time to provide a hot dinner and light for reading (ahhhhhhhhhh.....Multiple thanks sent Upstairs.)

Thanks for the ping, Silentgypsy. A return *ping* and am happy that God held His Hand over you and yours and the terrible mentioned storm was weathered.

That's a terrible shame - we don't have enough good musicians to spare, let alone that he seems to have been a likeable man with lots of good friends who will clearly miss him very much.

I think my daughter had gone to some of the Waits' concerts.

Glad you all made it through. Ash is much more sensitive about storms than the catz are; she used to try to get in bed with Anoreth when there was bad weather. We just had ordinary storms yesterday, with rain. I guess there wasn’t even thunder, because neither the pool where we had the swim meet nor the one where Bill works closed.

Howya, no-to-illegals. Any interesting weather or pet news where you are?

Can I call you nully, nully?

All of my FRiends call me nully.

I would be honored to count you among them.

Wearing a helmet, no other vehicles involved ... sometimes physics is just out to get you, seems like.

Ne zot, I think I need to go to Walmart again. It’s like we have extra people moving in after I go to bed at night and eating everything.

I’m sorry your son is in a grump at you. I don’t like that at all, especially when it’s over my refusing to accede to an unreasonable request or demand.

I dunno. sometimes, I get the feeling that he hopes I die soon so he doesn't have to deal with me any more. But right now, he's NOT dealing with me. His wife is, and I don't like that. I don't know her from Adam's off-ox, and I think it presumptuous of her to assume she has the same status he does in my life.

He doesn't want me in AR to live, if you can believe it. We had that discussion years ago. We won't have it again.

But why am I cluttering up the thread with this kind of stuff?? Who's being paid to listen to me?

:oþ

Oh, we’re listening to you for free, because otherwise we’d feel obligated to clean something ;-).

Don’t be silly - FRiends are here to “listen.” (So are catz, and they will also shed on you and then give you a wash, because you’re never clean enough.)

O. Thanks. ;o])

I just swept my CLEAN patio, and composed a letter to my doctor, who didn’t sign my papers the last visit, so once again I have to watch folks move into one-bedroom apartments here from studio apartments here. Gr-r-r-r-r-rr!

If I’m able to get a one-bedroom, I am also going to get a kitteh...with luck I can find a pole-stand to hang The Stig’s cage from. If I ever get to a thrift store.

A few days ago, I was on the bus and we went past a U-Haul lot that had trucks for sale. I know they would be in top condition, but I need to find out the pricing and such. No small ones, of course, but if the price is right....I can drive to Utah for the reunion. ;o]

Hey, SG!

We’re having gagging humidity here in the Sunshine State. A brief line of t-storms went thru last night.

The Bride and I are enjoying a week without the kids underfoot....

Any interesting weather or pet news where you are?

A doe came into the backyard yesterday to eat clover. The bobcat caught another rat. The hawk screamed and screamed yesterday. Could not see what had the hawk upset. Missed the owl yesterday. Did not see. Other than rain, then sun, then rain the day was normal, if there is anything which can be called normal.

God was kind (as He always is), and delivered another challenge to our family. God always helps to keep things interesting. Will be busy with this new challenge for many years to come.

Afternoon All, and (my apology) must disappear. Am looking for a great magician to accomplish the feat.

Best wishes with your new challenge! You have more wildlife than we do, although there was a pile of feathers by my back door this morning, suggesting the catz had a wild time.

Y’know, there are times that such discussions help others to clarify issues, too. Besides, I agree w/T-c, that’s what FRiends are for.
P.S. Have you read about the climate and insect life in AR? Perhaps *you* wouldn’t care to live there. (Granted, I’ve only been on interstates and stopped overnight in a few places, and they *do* have some nice places there for rockhounds, but it isn’t a state I’d like to sink roots in.)
