Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu

The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

Clouds coming up to our north, but the weather channel doesn’t think it will rain. Tom is trying to talk me into taking him to the movies, and I might, since Kathleen isn’t acting like she wants a nap. I don’t like the idea of having to go back for him, though.

Howdy, FRiends!

It’s only supposed to be 98 today, so I will be sure to wear a light sweater when I go outside.

The day didn’t get off to a good start, but since I’m done with the stress of the paperwork, I’m going to by-pass any other stresses until Monday, when I will concentrate on laundry. maybe I will even get it done, if I don’t run out of detergent...

Afternoon! Got your note today - such nice handwriting!

Speaking of laundry, there’s always more to do here. I decided to pass on taking Tom to the movie today. Maybe some day next week, depending on Bill’s work schedule.

It’s twelve days until my next epidural and I don’t think I can wait that long. Anybody have any ‘home epidural’ hints?

I was almost ashamed to send that off...my fingers were so stiff...:o|

Anyway, I appreciate the compliment. Not too many of those come my way these days; still, I try!

At least my cents of humor is still in tack!

At one time, both my arms were nearly paralyzed by bone spurs in my neck. My right arm was the worst.

I had an epidural on the right side, and it was only when the pain was relieved that I realized the left side needed to be done, as well.

All I can say is that within a few weeks of each epidural I felt immense relief. I can only hope that that is the case with you.

Perhaps the most important thing is to allow the epidural to work, and try not to stress about the fact that the relief isn’t happening soon enough. I will hold your hand through it all.

:o]

Once again, you’re my idol. I wish I did a good job of keeping up with my paperwork. Blech.

Why is “Shoe laces same length” third on the list?

That is so totally disorganized.

OMG! Where are you?
So much for Global Warming.
Not much of a “summer” here, either.

Thanks, 'Face.

The recent MRI showed a herniated C6/7 on the left side as a result of the accident, compressing the nerves into the left shoulder, arm, and hand. Simple motion of the arm and shoulder - which has been increasing since surgery and certainly with rehab - may be helping the ortho, but it's putting more pressure on the neuro.

After this epidural they're doing to try manipulating the neck to see if it can be helped that way in lieu of surgery.

So far I have had two steroid injections in my neck ( accident falling down stairs in 2004), two similar injections in my lumbar spine (L5/S1 subluxation with spinal cord involvement and bone spurs). I had substantial relief in both cases, though not long term. The best advice I can give is to do everything you can to keep moving so your body doesn’t knit your bones together. Osteoarthritis is no picnic, then again, neither is psoriatic arthritis or CFIDS. I am wondering how much these inflammatory and autoimmune “diseases” have to do with contaminated vaccines or drug therapies......

So far the best approach (for me) has been chiropractic, massage (the sports kind, not the “feel good” kind) and physical therapy (including ice/heat and electrical stimulation). I have successfully avoided the surgeon.

So I just got done reading "Cowboy Chicken Comes To Town" which is a short story of a fast food restaurant coming to Communist China.

Crazy stuff. Old lady so fascinated by a paper napkin with flowers stamped on it that she doesn't want to use it because she thinks that somebody laboriously stitched the flower pattern on it. People eating cheesecake with chopsticks. A wedding party held there because American fast food is so...exotic!

Well I thought it was interesting. Even though the premise of the short story was evidently to show the "evils" of capitalism imposed on a socialist society, it is clear that fast food fried chicken is a major step up for most of the Chinese people featured in this story.

Since my income is so low, I don’t have to file taxes (poverty level and all that!) there is no reason for me to keep any paperwork beyond 12 months.

Do I deleted whatever was more than 12 months old...:o]

The “realism” is this: I suffer from claustrophobia, as well as CFIDS; I live in a TINY apartment, the apartment is fraught with problems for anyone that has balance problems, and it is easier to purge the place than it is to try and live with the hazards of tubs and bins along the walls, wherever I need to navigate.

The Powers-That -Be seem to think that unless I fall and behead myself, they can’t move me into a larger apartment.

If you fall and behead yourself, you will have more room in the apartment you already have.

I do not recommend it. What good is headroom without a head?

I’m feeling perfectly spry, sorry to mention it ...

We’re going to take Kathleen to the pool in a few minutes. All the lifeguards want to see her. She looks funny in her bathing suit, like poor Toad.

On Monday, “James” is finally coming to replace the control unit on the stove. I’m steeling myself for the price, repeating, “Cheaper than a new stove, cheaper than a new stove ...”. Not that we wouldn’t like a new stove, but the space in the kitchen would only allow one pretty much like we have already, which it works fine except for the electronic controls.
