I saw that last night on Greta. For sure Hume was degrading Newt. As for the problem Brit has with Newt, I read that Newt said something offensive about Brit's son being gay or about him committing suicide. Don't remember exactly, but what I read is that Brit has hated Newt ever since. Sorry I can't give you more. I just skimmed the article and I am not even sure the info was true. Perhaps some other FReeper will know, but for sure Brit has a thing against Newt.

maybe that is why Drudge seems to have it in for him too with the non-stop negative Newt stories.
