You don't need that kind of money, and don't forget they are libertarians, which could influence such an endeavor.

YouTube, Video podcasts through Apple's iTunes, those are free to use, and you can even earn advertising from YouTube and charge subscription fees through iTunes if you want it to fund itself. Use that as a springboard - plenty of people already have or make their living from both of those platforms, and there are other video platforms.

It's just a matter of getting a group of committed people together who can put the time into it and who can stay committed to it.

That's the biggest barrier.
