Kids at Soule Road School in Wilbraham, MA ate green veggies and wore green today but, begorra, under no circumstances were they celebrating St. Patricks Day! Instead, it was Happy OGreen Day.
Inclusive and diverse, and to ease any discomfort that may go along with celebrating St. Patricks Day was the (non) reasoning behind the name change, according to principal Lisa Curtain.

Non-believers seem determined to celebrate the holidays (Holy Days) but without the Saints to whom those days are dedicated. They are a very confused lot.
Agreed. Confused and blind, I would say...
So we have to be politically correct about St. Patrick’s Day? Are liberals offended because there was an actual St. Patrick, a saint of the Catholic Church? So, somehow religion is being imposed by talking about St. Patrick’s Day????
but St Patrick and St Valentine's Days?
That’s how the left-wing psychos see it. When they finally learn the etymology of the word holiday(”holy day”), they’ll probably try to ban that word as well.
