St. Patrick kicked out of school

Kids at Soule Road School in Wilbraham, MA ate green veggies and wore green today but, begorra, under no circumstances were they celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! Instead, it was “Happy O’Green Day.”

“Inclusive and diverse,” and to “ease any discomfort that may go along with celebrating St. Patrick’s Day” was the (non) reasoning behind the name change, according to principal Lisa Curtain.

“Not so,” says the more diplomatic school superintendent, M. Michael O’Shea who undoubtedly has his share of Irish ancestry.

“Soule Road has not changed the name of St. Patrick’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day is on the Soule Road calendar…O’Green Day on Friday March 16…and was set up to encourage students to celebrate the holiday by wearing green,” he said as he sought to placate angry parents.

I’m not buying it. Last month St. Valentine’s Day was name-changed and homogenized to “Caring and Kindness Day” due to “faith issues.”

Non-believers seem determined to celebrate the holidays (Holy Days) but without the Saints to whom those days are dedicated. They are a very confused lot.

So we have to be politically correct about St. Patrick’s Day? Are liberals offended because there was an actual St. Patrick, a saint of the Catholic Church? So, somehow religion is being imposed by talking about St. Patrick’s Day????

I could see changing the name if it was St Kennedy's Day and we were celebrating downing a 5th of whiskey and trying to drive on water.......

but St Patrick and St Valentine's Days?

That’s how the left-wing psychos see it. When they finally learn the etymology of the word holiday(”holy day”), they’ll probably try to ban that word as well.

Celebrate diversity by quashing it?

People have gone insane.

Look, “diversity” is defined as one man sticking his penis in another man’s behind. Celebrate it or else!
