Are you saying Victor Davis Hanson is scared and ignorant? Are you saying a powerful earthquake can't really mess up your day? I was born here, live on a fault line, and know whereof I speak. I would not recommend moving here for any reason to anyone. The schools are horrible, the state is broke, over-regulated, crawling with hostile illegal aliens, and is the very definition of a man-caused disaster.
