and risk getting booed like MO at nascar?
DO NOT WISH HIM ON THE CAPS!
i would dearly love to see Maher stripped of an audience and a forum. he is beneath contempt.
PI DAY!
Heard a little of it ... bad enough to gag a maggot.
they kept going to him in at his seat, watching what he was doing. he had a baby in his arms at one point, and they were like OMG someone get a camera. GEE, no politician on earth has ever held a dang baby! Literally i was screaming aloud GET OFFA HIM for God’s sake!
only bc you have the work filter constraining you there... you dog ; )
I was peeping in at the game now and then ... glimpsed the baby thing when they handed him one as he was leaving .... had to walk out of the room until they got to interviewing the WK coach. Bill Clinton used to make my skin crawl whenever I heard/saw him, but BO .... he makes me seriously nauseous.
yum, apple pie!
Continuing our newsletter series called, "Have you ever met a number you didn't like?," today, 3/14, we're featuring the number π and we're introducing a new poetic form, the piku. Piku is a hybrid of pi and haiku. It combines the form of a haiku poem with the further constraint that the number of letters in the words of the poem is determined by the digits of pi. Traditionally, a haiku has seventeen syllables split into three lines, the first with five syllables, the second with seven syllables, the last with five syllables again. The digits of pi, when written out in decimal form, determine the number of letters in the words of the poem.
Here is my first piku:
For a time a child
Meditates on family
Later she finds strength
i honestly thought that Clintoon gave me the tourettes but OBams? holy crap, i scream profanity i didn’t know i knew!
On a related thought, what will the day be called exactly three years from today?
Ha! My company cafeteria just sent out a note inviting us to eat pie for pi day.
i was just thinking that 3/14/14 will be special. but ONLY IF the Mayans have it wrong... ; )
i gave up sweets for Lent, but dang that pie looks good! i’m J if you get to eat Pi!
Nah, I brung my lunch today.
lunch or no, i would be marching my behind to the cafeteria for PIE! strawberry rhubarb is really good, and Cherry, and Apple and Blueberry, or some of each maybe!
I guess my question is: “If 3/14 is called pi day, should 3/14/15 be called something like ‘super pi day’?”
