Globe makes the best, but they aren’t cheap.

You might find a Restaurant supply place that sells commercial products you can buy used.

What are you going to primarily use it for- what size - what capacity are you looking for?

If you are looking for something a bit more than a heavy duty kitchen (once in awhile) grinder - restaurant supply stores would probably be your best bet?

Have you looked at any already?

Hollymatic and or/Hudson. My brother owns 4 restos’. You will be running more than 1500 for Hudson and 2K for Hollymtaic as average but you can find some of them on Craigslist.

Lots of closing restaurants due to Hope and Change so that won’t be a problem.

Another vote for Hobart for the best, but to tell the truth I get by with a Cabela's pro series grinder that has been trouble free for years.

I process a couple hundred pounds of meat a year with it...and for around $200 it was/is well worth it.

I saw a meat grinder on craigslist. It was the Susan Fluke Model 2012. It was 30 years old but was missing its government approved safety shield.

I hear you can get the govenment or your insurance company to buy another shield unless you plan on grinding in a commercial church-owned kitchen.

Hobart for true commercial. Built like a tank.

I have used my commercial Kitchen-Aid with grinder attachment to process up to a 100 lb pig.

YMMV.

What’s the matter?

You don’t like “pink slime” in your meat?

We’ve been using these for wild game meat and our favorite restaurant also uses them. We’ve had no problem at all with them...
