Karl Rove mockingly dismissed the value of Sarah and Todd Palin's endorsements on a private conference call today, noting that their backing of Newt Gingrich in Alaska "demonstrated that endorsements dont mean snot."

Has he ever credited Tim Russert for the whiteboard ploy?
Rove is trying to be relevant and failing miserably.
His 15 minutes are up. I could care less what he thinks. Get a real job Rove!
You got to be kidding!!! Either you are blind and deaf or just despised Palin
Sarah had a no win situation in Alaska...her enemies were bankrupting her family with the frivolous lawsuits to no end and when she tried to get a legal defense fund, the law firm that represented Barrack Obama step in to block her from doing that. Of course the Republican Establishment in Alaska didn’t help her because they were mad about her exposing their own corruptions.
Second, Sarah has laid out a 5 point military plan, A five point economic plan and has expounded on the role of the U.S relations to China long ago in a speech in Hong Kong.
She did many of this before most of the future GOP candidates at that time laid out a plan
How crude. Sarah gets under Rove’s skin. He must consider her a threat. Like Newt.
Wow, that was some screed about Palin.
She didn’t do the hard work,eh?
Her work in support of the Tea Party in the 2010 mid-terms enabled the Weeper to get his gavel back.
No other Republican leaders lifted a finger to do that or did as much as she did.How many of them went to Tea Party events or identified with them?
The easy route? It’s called being in a place to wield influence on the issues of the day. You know, like when the President of the United States has to personally respond to the content of your FACEBOOK posts. If you don’t have a national presence, it is tough to influence anything from Wasilla, AK.
Of course it escaped Tokyo Rove’s notice that there was no official endorsement of Newt, only an admission of who she voted for and why, mainly because he hates hates strong conservative women, and couldn’t get to the whiteboard fast enough.
Words cannot adequately describe my loathing for this self-styled political “mechanic.”
One of the worst things about Romney victories is having to listen to this ass bray.
You don't get it yet...do ya!
and those were the words out of the mouth of the TURD BLOOSOM...
There was a day when Rove was well liked by Republicans..those days are long gone and Rove should retire and do nursing home volunteer work...
Hey Karl Rove..go FLUKE yourself
Rove(R) is a windsock, usually flaccid, but when he stands up you know the direction the hot air from the establishment is blowing.
Keep fluttering Rove(R), you make it easy to know what the (R) elitists fear.
These country club Republicans have villified and insulted Sarah Palin beyond all reason. She’s a really smart woman, a beautiful woman, and Rove is, quite simply, pea green jealous of her.
Rove is just pissed that she won’t come out and endorse his butt buddy Romney..I can’t stand Rove and his idiotic whiteboard, I would tell him to his face where he can shove it
You are on the same page. The minute I read the post, I went to check on Rove’s marital history. I suspect that rabid misogyny is at the heart of a major part of the opposition to Sarah Palin. Much of it is coming from homosexual men who have a real problem with women. I was suspecting that Rove was one of them.
Ken Rove and Ken Mehlman were very close. And Romney’s campaign manager/Drudge BFF Matt Rhoades is another Ken Mehlman protegee. The homo stuff in the GOP-e is getting really scary.
KARL Rove and Ken Mehlman.
Hey, I’m not trying to convince anyone about Palin one way or any way. People will think whatever they want.
One thing I do know: People don’t do what they don’t want to do. And they do do what they do want to do. Palin didn’t want to be governor in Alaska while she still had high name recognition. So she quit. Her choice.
All that’s fine, though I don’t respect her decision. Now she’s just another talking head on Fox News. Her endorsement carries as much weight as Kristen Powers endorsing Obama. Which is to say, not much weight at all to the broad electorate in the same way that Powers endorsing Obama doesn’t matter.
None of this means I despise Palin, it’s quite the opposite. She’s attractive, well spoken, articulate, passionate. All the things you want in a good TV news commentator. She just doesn’t matter that much one way or the other. Whew! Go Newt!!
I only spoke up because someone thought the topic was worthy of a FR thread.
It’s been fun, goodnight all.
You got to be a troll or just a plain palin hater because you didn’t answer to a single thing that i laid out that is solid proof out there on what happen in Alaska. But you sure do interject you “opinion” that Sarah didn’t want to be governor even when we have or 60,000 emails from her time as governor and it shows that she was engaged in the business of being Governor and it shows her reasons...just like I explain on why she decided to step down. Get lost!!!
Ken Mehlman? Is Karl Rove a case of like father, like son? Karl Rove’s father, Louis had informed his wife that he was gay and that he was coming out of the closet and wanted a divorce. Later, Karl’s mother, Reba Louise, drops out of his life, drives “out to the desert north of Reno and filled the car with carbon monoxide, and then left all of her five children a letter saying, dont blame yourselves for this.” This sad set of events may have set the stage for Rove’s mistrust for women. Perhaps the apple does not fall far from the tree.
I’m not sure what he said makes him an “ahole”. Rove’s prediction will be tested in future primaries. If Newt fails to win, then Sarah’s endorsement won’t have meant that much. If Newt catches fire, then Rove is wrong. Either way, I expect that Sarah’s endorsement, like Pawlenty’s, Jindal’s, Perry’s, and Cain’s won’t amount to much. Voters are making their own minds up this season.
Dick likes their toes ~ or at least he used to.
