Rick blew big leads in both Michigan and Ohio by blowing debates, putting his foot in his mouth, and not getting enough signatures to field delegates.

Rick did no such thing. He was outspent 10-1 in some cases by the Romney smear machine. The same one that seems to have permanently crippled Newts campaign after SC. Rick still won states, delegates and challenged Milt very closely in MI and OH.

Newt barely campaigned in either.

Right there might be Newts real trouble. His campaign is a shambles. This concept of a "Southern Strategy" that everyone has been selling here the last week was put to the test tonight. It included winning TN and OK. It failed. Now what is his plan? California. Like that is going to happen.

I think you’re wrong. I’ll try to find the polls, but I believe Rick was up nine point in Michigan before his debate meltdown, and a series of foot in mouth moments. I also believe he had a double digit lead in Ohio, and collapsed allowing Romney to come from behind. All states are not equal. Rick won a series of irrelevant contests, and a bunch of unbound delegates (I don’t know the precise rules, but I think you’ll find that if the establishment deems it necessary to get those delegates behind Romney, Rick will end up short). Rick has absolutely no chance of beating Romney or Obama, and his supporters are delusional to think continue thinking otherwise.

Rick’s commitment to big government (Medicare Part D, NCLB for examples), and expressed hostility to individualism are going to make it next to impossible for him to garner support when we are at a tipping point with regard to big government (very soon the takers will outnumber the coerced)|, and on the verge of financial collapse. Rick Santorum is a dedicated statist that hides behind notions of freedom. His record and own words prove that.

I am 100% behind Newt Gingrich. The man with a vision. Win, lose, or draw I will stand by my principles.
