Ma’am, please understand I’m addressing you in a respectful fashion because your posts clearly indicate you want nothing but to be humble and helpful.
Nevertheless, comments like “The problem with personal attacks is
that there is nothing of substance there...” while well meaning, are cliche’ and incorrect. Personal attacks are tremendously effective, and one of the key reasons we keep losing.
We can not afford to play by rules our enemies flaunt with impunity and which do nothing but prevent US from responding effectively.
Ask yourself this question: will God hold us guiltless for rigidly following the same demonstrably ineffective strategy as pro-lifers for the last forty years?
I agree to a certain point.
The woman lied before Congress and I have no issue calling her a liar. That is the truth.
If she had testified to having sex with tons of partners, I would have no problem calling her a slut. Why? Because it would be true.
However, she never mentioned her sex life in that testimony. The testimony was misrepresented to us and until I listened myself I was arguing on a false premise. I felt deceived and frankly I was embarrassed.
