Unfortunately, people on the right and left seem equally drawn to ridiculous conspiratorial thinking. I guess if something just doesn’t fit into their world view, they won’t accept it and assume some nefarious plot.

The silly conspiracy nonsense coming from some quarters on the right after Breitbart’s passing reminds me of the stupid Paul Wellstone conspiracies the left generated after he died in the plane crash. Last I remember reading, many liberals are still convinced Karl Rove ordered Wellstone “silenced”.

I admit to being a bit suspicious but have no real reason or evidence to believe that it was anything other than a heart attack.

Assasinations have happened thousands of times in human history and it would be totally naive to think there are not people who are willing to kill in order to forward their agenda.
