I think I have to side with the one who has a. taught me a few things and b. I own recipe books and products with her name.

That boils down to ......Martha Stewart.

I made finger food for a reception in honor of my sister a few years ago and spent about $55 for 30 people based on her recipes and planning tips. It was a lovely party and there were some leftovers.

Me too. She has delicious recipes and creative ideas for decorating and gardening. I always look forward to the next issue of “Living”. Whatever one’s opinion of her, one must admit that the woman’s got style.

Martha always had good stuff ~ she had very professional staff people too ~ and she'd go to knowledgeable folks for advice and then follow it.

I'd initially thought of her as a "created celebrity" and then found out her dad was a coal miner ~ she really did keep her eye on the pennies, and was dedicated to making hard work look good too.

Guess I could write her obituary.

Today I follow Zimmern!
