There was also the wonderful adventure of her falling out the window
behind me in the dining room. The screen popped out & I heard her drop.
I told mom & bro "the cat fell out the window", followed by the sounds of
her trying to jump back up to the window when the screen only partially
came loose & still blocked her way. He went out to fetch his cat & she
freaked. He got far enough to have her inside, in the laundry room. She
just would not calm down. He had to go back outside & shove her
through the window while mom & I held the screen out.

Yes, the joys of having a bobcat domestic mix.
She weighed 22 pounds at least and was smart enough to figure that if she went outside that way, she had to go back inside the same way.
Problem was, we were already back inside and she was freaking out and shredding my shirt.
Poor thing, so I had to go BACK outside to toss her fuzzy butt back in through the window.

Sidenote, I came back into the laundry room, opened the door and told my cat as she strutted past, “See?! You were right here!”
She exhaled out her nose at me.

Does it seem like animals mess w/Darks’ head? Same thing happens w/my husband. I used to think he was anthropomorphizing or making stuff up, but over the years, it’s plain that he wasn’t exaggerating. When you see them all consorting, they behave in the most bizarre and undignified ways. The catz really let it all hang out around Mr. SG.
