Yes .. this is a very sad poem. I hesitated before using it ... then decided that death was a part of life.

You are so right, Amy. Tomorrow it will be two months since death touched my life so deeply.........

Look at the hibiscus flower, in time lapse, as it opens with full beauty, and then as it grasps for life, just before it's final close:

It does give us pause to consider the frailness of life.
