I’m all in favor of violent or otherwise deserving punks getting a beatdown, but this was overkill. Kids blew an airhorn (and, so far as we know, it was only one occasion; I suppose the reaction could have been due to REPEATED blasts), leaves, and is attacked with metal clubs when he returns, unarmed, to retrieve his jacked.
Shorter version: the airhorn was a dick move, but it didn’t merit a cowardly, 2-on-1, clubs-vs.-unarmed beatdown. On top of it all, the two guys lied to the cops instead of being honorable.
Dunno, maybe the video shows they just swatted him a little. Can’t tell just from the story.

A ten foot, fully extended aluminum ball retriever being swung at anybody isn't even going to produce a bruise.
The only overkill here is the involvement of law enforcement and the TV news station......but of course you wouldn't know that since you didn't watch the video. Sheesh!
