All you “divisism” comment shows is that some folks are far too easily willing to compromise their positions for their need to “win”....blurring the differences between the GOP and the JACKASS party. For all the Santorum detractors....I’d rather have the guy who made a few bad plays on our team than the guy who ran the ball for the OTHER team whenever he got the chance.

If I wanted compromise, I'd go with Romney or even Santorum. I'm sticking with Newt because I want a proven Reagan conservative who is also brilliant, knows the facts, can articulate them, and will stand up to the rest. I've said all along Santorum would suffice as a vp or a cabinet member, but he is not ready for prime time. He can't beat Obama, he's too weak, and everybody knows it.

Still cannot figure what Newt plans to run on since he’s already surrendered each and every issue that would draw stark contrasts between himself and Obamba.

If what you are looking for is nothing more than a BIG TENT (moderate)republican, Newt’s your guy. McLame’s 2008 defeat proved that it’s not a winning position.
