Thank you-so the teachers pet is not a child. Correct, however the teacher committed a crime because she was in a position of authority over the student in a public institution, using authority to coerce sex, sexual assault, not statutory rape.

I agree-I said in another post that it is like a supervisor bullying a worker in that manner-using a position of authority to coerce an individual into having sex. A nasty thing to be sure, but not statutory rape or sex with a child. Whether supervisor or teacher, such a thing should be a matter of record for any future potential employer to see.
