Wireless cams, fake cams, and home power or solar-powered motion-activated spotlights all work well together. But in this case, they used the classic “female needs help” ruse to get the door open (and her foot in the door.) Your family REALLY needs to understand how this ruse works, to be on their guard against it. Most people instinctively trust a female at the door, and will open it. DANGER!!!! Talk through the door. And try to clear any visibility shadows back away from the door, so the gang can’t be a few feet away, but out of sight. Even fake video cameras can be a big help there.

Last summer, I received a call from someone, saying that they were from 1-800-Flowers and that they had a delivery for me, but that they only had a P.O.Box address and wanted to know my street address.

I asked who the flowers were for and they said, Anthony Zumudio, I said Anthony Zumudio doesn’t live here, so why would you be sending him flowers at my home? They just said that this is what they were told to do.

When I asked who was sending the flowers, the woman gave me four first names (all Hispanic) and said that they were standing right there next to her. When I laughed at her, she just let out with a stream of profanity like you never heard.

I was alone in the house for the week-end and was certain that the Mexican drug cartel was going to burst in the house at any minute.
