Odd. Apple just placed a new motherboard in mine, free of charge. AppleCare expired 3 months ago too. If that’s dropping support, I’ll take it!No offense, but you really should read the article before posting. If you had, you would see that I was referring to the fact that MacBook Pro's from late 2007 (and some others - but that's my model) will not be supported by OS-X Mountain Lion release.
