Paul McCartney ended the show with side 2 of Abbey Road (From Golden Slumbers forward). That is over 40 years old and still rocked the house. Maybe if they created music that withstood the test of time the other entertainers wouldn't have to do all that crazy stuff just for publicity. In other words modern music isn't holding up.

That’s why I like The Beatles. 98% of their discography has stood the test of time. Even today, at least to myself, their music has a freshness about it. Not so with what passes for “music” today. Give me The Beatles, collectively or solo, any day.
