It's no different than blaming the kicker for missing the crucial 3-pointer for the win as the clock runs out. If the offense as a whole, as well as the defense, couldn't make the game work for 59 minutes and 57 seconds, why is it the kicker's fault for losing the game?
Giselle, If Sweet Tom was so great he should have place the ball a little lower, or maybe placed it inside his jersey.
