He’s not politically savvy, intellectually astute, or personable enough to win

If that's the criteria, and I disagree with your assessment of those as regards Santorum, we'll have trouble even if Gingrich can pull out of his slump and start winning again, because nobody has ever called Gingrich "personable", and he's proven just in the past two years that his sense of "politically savvy" isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Gingrich has the intellect, Santorum doesn’t.

Santoprum be painted as a radical right wing extremist, not have an answer to it and be viewed as too extreme to be president, just as he was painted in his last senate race. Only difference is this time the money spent to attack him will have many more zero’s to the left of the decimal.

Gingrich may not be the most likeable, but he smart enough to take it to the press and the left and make them look like fools in the process, Santorum is milk toast.

I am so sick of people who didn’t and don’t live in PA and never watched Santorum and know anything about the guy politically tell me what he can do, I have lived in PA since 1986 and I can tell you, he is HATED in PA, across the political spectrum for a REASON.. if his name were up for the Senate this time around in PA, he’d lose just as badly as he did in 2012. You are dilluding yourself if you think this guy in remotely the calibre of politician to handle a presidential campaign and race against Obama.

He couldn’t handle the attacks against him in 06 which were peanuts by comparison to what is going to happen during this campaign.

Santorum is playing above his pay grade, he’d be an ok VP, but that truly is about as good as this guy is.
