Newt is a rebel...he is an opportunist for the rebel forces who want to return to our conservative principles and the Constitution.

Go Newt! Seize this opportunity!

Pat’s sister, Bay, is a big Romney supporter and a convert to Mormonism. They’re both nuts.

25 years ago is a lifetime in politics.

Reagan was a democrat 25 years prior to him becoming president.

Gingrich has no core? Well, when it comes to the media, Newt does show some core values. He excoriates them at every opportunity.

And that may have been the reason for the really great showing Newt had in South Carolina. You notice that Newt had not had a similar opening in either of the Florida debates, and it puts him a little behind.

Still, in Florida, there was a sizable vote already cast BEFORE the debates that were held here. So the tally may be closer than anybody thinks.

Newt versus the media is his best showing yet.

Newt probably sees November as his big “opportunity” to pull America’s chestnuts out of the fire by getting rid of Barry for us. He’s right.

Yawn.

To the Romney-bots, keep it up. Pretty soon it'll be President Newt.

Nancy Reagan: Ronnie Passed Conservative Torch to Newt

“The dramatic movement of 1995 is an outgrowth of a much earlier crusade that goes back half a century. Barry Goldwater handed the torch to Ronnie, and in turn Ronnie turned that torch over to Newt and the Republican members of Congress to keep that dream alive. I know that Ronnie believes they will succeed, and the American people support their efforts.”

(Nancy Reagan, Speaking at the 1995 Goldwater Institute Dinner)

He is in Washington with the lobbyists and corruption, okay. He is part of the problem. Many people on our side caving in. It could be a little envy there that he is not back in the game.

Yea, I remember that very statement by Nancy Reagan when she so gracefully said “Ronnie gave the torch to Newt, that political opportunist”.

Without a doubt, singularly the worst smelling breath of any mortal on this planet. Yeah it is that bad. Found out in 2000 during a campaign stump-

aged another 14 years... that breath should be able to stop a charging rhino. (light bulb coming on) Let’s hope that breath of his does indeed stop a charging rino.

This incredible; Republicans; cannot get to Media fast enough to dump on another Republican; and one; no matter what they say; did get the job done as he promised he would (Contract WITH America) when Speaker of the House. It is clear; that they have never forgiven him.

I am loathing all these Repub vermin; no better than a freaking, lying Leftie. None of them. . .

What is Bain Capital if not opportunistic? But that is good but in other areas it is not?

If there is opportunity, take it —wouldn’t one be foolish not to— unless it was an totally unethical opportunity?

We can’t say ALL politics are unethical, can we, well, unless we are anarchist.

What is Buchannan and his sister if not political opportunist?

Bah...silly argument in my opinion. Envious reaching fools.

All my opinion of course...

“Later Buchanan reiterated his criticisms of Gingrich, recalling his opposition to Reagan’s 1986 veto of a South African anti-Apartheid sanctions bill and about how Gingrich used it to score points against Reagan. “

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comprehensive_Anti-Apartheid_Act
“President Ronald Reagan vetoed the law but was overridden by Congress (by the Senate 78 to 21, the House by 313 to 83). “
Republicans had a majority in the Senate and even they wouldn’t uphold his veto.
There was more going on than just ‘scoring points’.
This was a very charged vote.
