I stopped the FB stuff about six months ago. I’m convinced there’s something fishy goin’ on there. Zuck and obama are too good of buddies. But the sheeple just keep on bowing to their masters.
Why does anybody bother with exposing themselves on FB? I don’t understand why anyone would put their personal life up on some Krap like this. Does not make sense. IMHO
I don’t have much to reveal. There’s nothing in my past that’ll haunt me.
I use FB to “educate” nieces and nephew and other idiot liberals in my family who I am sure are snooping....most everything I post is innocuous or political....wanna see pictures of our cat and dog? How about of me shooting at a range? (Electronic, by the way.) They are there. I do NOT tell people when I’m going places, etc, or much about what I’m actually doing. I’m not sure whether I like FB or not, but I have found it useful politically.

I do a lot of similar things but any trips or experiences of any kind are never posted (assuming I bother to first) until well after they happened.
My 25 year old son who is a tech professional told me tonight that he’s noticing his peers being taken aback when he tells them he doesn’t have a FB page.
“They’re almost handicapped in talking with you if they haven’t first read a synopsis of your ‘Likes’”.
I am extremely tech savvy, but I refuse to go anywhere near Facebook. We have so little privacy as it is. We live in a surveillance society and police state, but I’ll be damned if I’ll voluntarily turn all of my personal data over to a private company that then shares it with the Government.
When are the slaves in the country going to see what is going on? When are we going to rise up in armed revolt against our masters that have perverted the Constitution and destroyed our liberty?
ditto!!!
Makes no sense!
I personally don’t care for FB even though I have a page. I only have it up because I want to share the conservative/pro-life message with my liberal friends and also evangelize.
I put pictures of my trips AFTER I’ve returned home. I never announce in advance that I’m not going to be home, where I’m going, and/or how long I’m going to be gone.
FB is good for keeping up with life events among the extended family.
They do it because they are narcissists. They can use their FB posts to show their ‘friends’ how happy, beautiful & successful they are. It is a one way street for them, because they are really not interested in what their ‘friends’ post. You can tell who they are, they are the ones who have to tell you all the inane details of their daily lives, how little Johnny won a sports trophy the same day he was named class president, what they had for lunch, and how they had the best night out, etc.
The ones that get to me are the ones that talk about their headaches and their sick days and every time they are bored during the day or how mad they are at the driver in the car next to them. That’s just not FB material.
It looks to me like everyone I know on facebook has gradually stopped using their accounts EXCEPT for the retards that post crap like I described above.
FB is an amazing political organizing tool, but they’re ruining it slowly but surely. I hate the timeline format.
I think it would be fun to post stuff that is NOT true....talk about a trip to the Caribbean, and other info...just to mess things up...
Reminds me of a “Leave it to Beaver Episode”. Dad gives him a journal as he said he wants to be a writer some day. One day Beaver doesn’t come home on time and the parents get worried. After exhausting all resources, they look at the journal that they said they would NEVER look at.
Day 1:
Went to school, came home, did homework.
Day 2:
Skipped school, went swimming, came home.
Day 3:
Skipped school again. Hopped the freight train to Fergusville, drank coffee for the first time at a Hobo camp, came home.
About then Beaver walks in, and his worried parents are so relieved, and then apologize for sneaking a peep at his journal, and then start questioning him about his skipping school, etc.
“Oh that. Well I figured if I’m going to be a writer, I better start making up stuff, ‘cuz no ones going to want to buy a book about me going to school, coming home and doing homework, eating dinner and then going to bed.”
