How did you like it? The first time i read it i didn’t care much for it (not at all what i was expecting/hoping for) and have avoided re-reading it even though i’ve read the other books in that series many times now. But i listened to it again recently and to my surprise enjoyed it this time. I think because i went in with a different attitude, accepting the story that Card wanted to tell rather than the story i wanted him to tell.
Yes, that sounds valid. I think I read “Speaker for the Dead” and “Xenocide” years ago but don’t remember them with the “wow factor” of “Ender’s Game.” Still this book was a satisfactory way to kill off Andrew Wiggin.
