Yes, that was really out there...”Romney is the most conservative”. Ann C. was one of my heroes; what has happened to her and Laura Ingram? I could have still thought highly of her even with a disagreement on Newt but wow, there has to be something else there driving her to a frenzy on Newt. In her spitting and spewing, she says Newt says whatever his listeners want to hear, he is not conservative and that there is no possibility of him beating the Whitehouse Peacock.... At least partially because of his infidelity. The infidelity is going to continue to be an issue but the rest of her points compared to Romney?.... Ann has lost her ability to be objective. Santorum is the most conservative and the most aligned with my beliefs. I wish him to come out on top but if it comes to Newt and Romney? Ann, your acrid argument is just that: the bitter ranting of someone who has lost objectivity.
I think the establishment fear Newt and always despised him.
The candidate the establishment fears and hates the most is Ron Paul. He is the most conservative candidate. He wants to return the federal government to the limits written in The Constitution. He promises to cut $1 trillion from the federal government in his first year in office, as well as shutting down the TSA, the Department of Energy, The Department of Education, and others. The U.S. government is $15 trillion in debt. The United States cannot project military power in the world if it is bankrupt.
You know, I really think the infidelity meme isn’t going to fly. If it doesn’t keep Newt from getting the republican nomination it won’t keep him from winning the WH.
These are hard times, if the public thinks Newt’s got a shot at making them better they’ll go with him.
Clinton kind of blowed up that whole marital fidelity thing. No pun intended.
