waning crescent today...just a little sliver of moon. low in the sky to the east, this AM in NY. went out to start the wife’s car...very striking.
I bought myself an Iphone for Christmas and added the ‘Star Walk’ app. as I have forgotten much of the astronomy classes I took 40 or so years ago...it is a big plus.
