In fact, I think she may need to do that “spider on a mirror” thing with ehr hands, to aid in the firing of what few synapses she has (I will give you all a moment to do the spider thing...and then look up the big words, so you get it ;-) lmao

I think they listen to the rehearsal and take notes. At least, Paula used to. Remember Jason Castro, the contestant with the dreadlocks? I remember a time when she gave him a bad review on a song he hadn't even sung yet. Turned out Paula had gotten confused and accidentally read her notes from the rehearsal!
