a BIT more innocent...but I have vivid memories of nights when my brother and I and the neighbor kids were freshly bathed and in our PJ’s...but it was summer...and HOT...and my dad would load us all into the old Ford and take us to DQ for a Dilly bar...Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh life was so simple then.......

Yes! We did that too!

My grandpa used to take us to DQ for Dilly Bars too. I think it was his weakness. He’d buy them by the bags full and put them in the freezer.

Lovely summer memories...what a treat it was when we’d put on our summer pjs after our bath and get to sit outside in the front yard eating a Popsicle before bed. The best was going to the drive-in movies. My dad put some kind of board in the back seat of his Pontiac so we could lie down with our pillows. :)
