I think that song was “too big” for her...she is a teenage girl, not Beverly Sills!(obscure reference to a famous opera mezzosoprano-—said, as I grab a bathrobe...because it appears my age is showing ;-)
I am reminded also of Charlotte Church....she was given “big songs” and the gal blew out her vocal cords before she was in her 20s!
I’m old enough to remember Beverly Sills, very good singer
