Maybe I am just grumpy from lack of sleep this week, but why are they having an episode at ELEVEN o'clock at night on a Sunday??

Plus, we all know football time is on an entirely different plane of existence from normal Earth time and the game actually being over by 11 is more of a lofty goal then an actual end time.

The Fox schedulers disappoint Joan.

11pm Sunday, are they kidding? Heck, I’m ready for bed now.

You were right!

American Idol Scandal Already? Tent Girl Amy Brumfield Has a Rap Sheet!

The girl living in the backwoods of Tennessee comes with quite the backstory.

On last night's American Idol season premiere, Amy Brumfield impressed the judges with her voice and sad tale of being unemployed and living in a tent.

But while she may be new to American TV audiences, Brumfield isn't a stranger to the local cops...

Brumfield is no criminal mastermind or anything, but the 24-year-old from Gatlinburg, Tenn., has been arrested at least five times since 2005, according to authorities and public records.

In 2005, at the age of 19, she was busted for criminal trespassing and held on $1,000 bail in Pigeon Forge, in the Smoky Mountain foothills.

Brumfield was arrested twice in 2007, the first time for remaining on private property after she had been evicted and the second time for underage consumption of alcohol. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for the alcohol offense.

The Gatlinburg Police Department also confirms to E! News that Brumfield was arrested twice in nine days for public intoxication in August 2010, first for exhibiting "extreme intoxication" at a restaurant and then again when an officer observed her appearing "very unsteady on her feet" in Linebergers Plaza after she supposedly urinated in the lobby of a Baskin Robbins.

Asolutely.

This is the last NFL game that FOX will have this season, so they're treating it like the Super Bowl. I would like to see auditions on an aircraft carrier though.

Good news is, according to TVGuide, the game is scheduled to "end" at 10pm EST/9pm CENT, and that's including a half-hour post-game coverage. So if the game is a blowout, they might move Idol up so it follows immediately after game coverage ends.

We'll see ...

And in other good news, Idol will be up against another debate next Thursday night. YEAH!
