Hi! I am a SMASH fan. Cat McPhee is marvelous in the part of the ingenue. It’s only a matter of weeks before she takes over the lead from the chubby homely “Marilyn”.
The Joe DiMaggio is dreadfully miscast. Joe was tall, dark, handsome, Italian, and all-male.
I don’t care for the wimpy pale version of Joe.
I have been a Debra Messing fan for ages, as well as a big fan of Anjelica Houston.
Anyone who loves show biz and wants to see great acting, singing, and dancing—forget GLEE.
SMASH is where it’s at.

Agree with just about everything you said..and I can even get past the gay romances...the composer and the chorus guys....we will have to have our “own” SMASH thread..
