Time will tell indeed...but he was also wasting the limiited rehersal time he had, with the voice coach...and kept them all waiting too...so it was at a minimum, pretty danged unprofessional.That being said...I hope he can harness his emotions a bit.
I’m thinking he was already going to do that song (another Ray Charles), so he didn’t really need to practice that. I think the choice of instrument (drums) might have played a part in his concern.
