If these "ARE" the TRUMPETS??? They should be welcomed when you know your heart is true to love!!!

Especially when they embed pay-per-click ads into them.
Clever.
It’s the first I’ve heard of this recent phenomenon. And now that I’m doing a google search about it I see that yeah a lot of the people commenting are skeptical. But it was too cold to have thunder here I would think, and I found no evidence outside of what could have been making the repeated thumps. I’m by an expressway but am unfortunately all too familiar with the noises that generate from that, so there’s nothing to explain what I heard. Now I wish I’d paid more attention to it!
Yeah.
I noticed the utter lack of public interest, myself.
Geeze...when we had that silly little “earthquake” here in W.MD, everybody and their dog ran outside and the telephones were ringing off the hooks.
Just emailed our local weather guy on WTAE. He might be back to me before I head home. If not I'll be talking with him later.
When I hear well played Shofars, I’ll worry.
I’m pretty sure God’s “old school” and the angels will be quite proficient ‘trumpet’ players,

I’m going with this.

[laughably, liberal-loving, Obama-adoring Wikipedia is staging a “blackout” to protest the internet free speech kill-switch Obomination just laid on us....too funny. we should send them some Neosporin+ for the bite marks on their ass]
I sure hope that wasn't a wet one.... I'm just sayin'.
One of the morning staff just came in and said he had heard there was a remote chance of a thunderstorm overnight, so that remains a possibility.
Yup.
I was sitting on Virginia Beach when I heard them.
They outlawed the fighter jet land flyovers and they stopped.
:)
Maybe they’re just tuning up???
LOLOL
I too am in VA, and was also driving in my car at the time. I didn’t feel a thing. Of course, I’m in the mountains, far away from where the epicenter was. When I got back to the office, everyone was talking about it, and I was VERY disappointed because I felt like I’d missed out on it.(I’d never experienced an earthquake before), lol
Here we go:
“Scientists have now accepted that the intersection of 2 problems - the deterioration of Earth’s Magnetosphere during the Sun’s Polar shift in 2012 (as recently discussed) will be the real concern as we approach 2012 : Now here’s the reason why: Scientists have found two large leaks in Earth’s magnetosphere, the region around our planet that shields us from severe solar storms. Now in 2012 the suns poles will reverse (not the earths as wrongly said on many 2012 sites - see below!) , during this time a massive solar storm will reck havoc on earth - usually this is no problem - but now due to the ‘cracks’ in it, Earth’s protective Magnetosphere may fail us, so the violent solar and electromagnetic radiation will make it through and cause many problems to life as we know it (eg: disabling communication satellites, mobile phones, effective sleep patterns, & radiation poisoning of humans) Also as earth has to absorb extra radiation & energy this will cause possible changes within the earth’s core - with energy being re-dissipated from the earth with new volcanoes formed and crust movement.”
And
“Sounds from Space
I think it has to do with the atmosphere opening up somehow or by something. The vacuum of space is rushing something in or something out of the atmosphere. This also I would believe makes a electro magnetic effect when closing like the flash of lights in some of the videos.
Or it is the earths crust making crazy noises from the pressure of the core and fractal cracks working their way up.”
We’re all gonna die.
Guess I’ll go eat some chocolate, then.
War of the Worlds flat out scares the crap out of me.
I think this means we’re going to see a movie trailer soon.
So - Now I’m going to write a book about the breakdown of society, government and the whole financial system which will render all forms of currency as we know it worthless.
I think I’ll charge $59.95 on Amazon (plus Shipping and Handling charges of course.)
A while back I lived near the arctic circle and would go out on my balcony (when a lack of wind allowed me to pry the door open) to watch the northern lights. I was sure that they made a weird noise... a soft swooshing sound with a bit of a hum to it.
The noise in some of the videos reminded me of them, but the noise in the videos was much louder. The auroras' sound was subtle, eerie, ephemeral... ebbing and flowing with the dance of the lights.
