UPDATE ON SHANE: He just called again from Afghanistan. He will be leaving for Germany today or tomorrow for more surgery on ankle then back to the States. He is not sure if he will be in Lejeune or DC depends on how bad the ankle is. He will have several months of physical therapy and was told that he should be back 100% by the time his Unit returns back to the States in July. He is doing good and misses his family and Marines. Will keep everyone posted! Keep the prayers going!!
Unlucky to trigger an IED; lucky it wasn’t worse. Few survive actually stepping on one. Hang tough, young man, and rejoin your brothers quickly.

Glad to see Shane is doing well. Prayers have been sent for him and his family.
Thank you Lord that it was not worse, and that he is on the road to recovery! And heartfelt thanks to that young Marine for his service. Prayers lifted for a quick and complete recovery.
May God bless and keep them, every one.
