I can listen to any nationally syndicated talk show in America, anywhere I want, in real time, by using a cell phone app called "iHome Radio". I installed it on my iPhone after my wife purchased some doohickey at Costco which turns your iPhone into a clock radio while charging it at the same time.
If I plug my phone into my car stereo's input jack, I can listen on my car speakers. If you don't have an input jack, but you have a cassette deck, you can listen with a cassette adapter. If you only have a CD player, you can use a device that broadcasts RF frequency to your FM radio. Or you can buy portable iPhone speakers and play the audio through them.
I don't know if you have to buy the iHome clock radio at Costco to get the app. If you can't get that app, then there are a zillion other radio apps, including iHeartRadio and some others. Some stations also have their own individual apps.
You may have to listen to some local ads, weather and traffic reports from some city 1,000 miles away, but you can listen to any syndicated radio talk show you want.

Living overseas, I found a well-functioning FREE iPhone app that allows me to tune into my favorite conservative talk radio hosts stateside. It’s called “Talk Shows on Internet Radio - LITE”. Yes, it is free and the paid version only removes the ads. The nice thing I found about this app, is that it will provide links to the radio host wherever they are being broadcast on the Internet, regardless of the time, so you’re not restricted to one specific city.
