Did Romney nominate a committed socialist subversive like Elena Kagan? 0 put her on the court precisely to protect his agenda. The Left has a coherent long-term strategic view. They pick candidates and nominees with an end in mind.

Frankly, I'm fed up with the stupidity and childishness of many conservatives. When candidates come along who are social and fiscally conservative, they are ignored or ridiculed ("sounds like my bitchy ex-wife;" "he's not getting traction, so I'll wait"). Instead, many follow dummies like Perry, soporific old fogies like Fred Thompson, manipulative old pols like Newt, neo-Huckabees like Santorum, etc.
