And not succeeding, I guess. They are way more stubborn than you are. Plus they know regardless, you will feed them.
They win. Every time.
It’s great fun to interact with an animal. My dog has to live with my parents as I cannot have pets in my apartment (but I pay all her bills and visit on weekends). This dog totally loves all her people and I adore her tail-wagging excitement when someone comes in the house that she knows. Plus, she has been great company for my dad since he had a mild stroke in November. Hangs out with him, naps with him, etc...
