Something Conservatives Can Agree On? Bob McDonnell As VP Would Demolish Obama.Massive Landslide.

Posted on 01/05/2012 6:21:10 PM PST by The_Obama_Gerbil

Most Republicans,Independents and Conservative would likely be happy if not overwhelmed with McDonnell as VP. As much as we would prefer Rubio or Christie, neither has shown interest in being President or Vice President. This leaves McDonnell as a top choice. Why it would topple Obama? Bob McDonnell is in the right location. Virginia. He would sweep the entire south, and the rust belt. Whether it's Romney,Santorum or Gingrich, Bob McDonnell as VP would likely be the death of the Obama Chicago Thug Administration.

Romney could pick the most conservative running mate in the world. he could pick Jesus.

I fell for it last time. This time, no flipping way.

When will the GPO start kicking out the democrats in our party?

As for the rest of the field. If any of them pick him or another known conservative. I’m ok with that.

If we actually believe ANY VP pick is going to bring about a landslide, we`re deluded. And how a VP will `demolish` the head of the other ticket, I`m not sure. Didn`t happen last time, the time before...or ever.

Depends on who Obama chooses after Biden has his unfortunate stroke, car crash or incurable cancer (whichever polls best with the focus groups).

You are right. The post is just strange. By the way, hasn’t McDonnell endorsed Romney already?

McDonnell would be a terrific choice! Especially if VA is looking ‘wobbly’. He wouldn’t be your typical fire breathing, red meat slinging bomb thrower that the VP role typically plays. He’d be more of a serious problem solver type. He has certainly been a wonderful governor. Really, HE should be the one running for president. Since VA governors are limited to serving a single term in office, this would also make him a good fit.

I’m still ashamed of my VA helping elect this joke we call a president in the first place. McDonnell would bring assurance that wouldn’t happen this time around.

Until McDonnell comes clean on the charges that the Republican elite CHEATED to get Mitt on the primary ballot while eliminating all the other Republican candidates, he hasn't got a chance of getting his next job anywhere.

Right now he is INTERNAL TOAST and you know what that is.

he could pick Jesus. Jesus Diaz, my gardener?

I don't think he is interested in getting into politics.

and can you imagine if it came down to Romney/McDonnell? the GOP would be wanting the ticket in the other direction, kinda like when we wanted a Palin/McCain ticket...if it’s McDonnell,he will get most of the attention. but I still like Thune,Ryan and Daniels too.

This is like all the folks in the last cycle clamoring for Duncan Hunter. Great guy, but 95% of the electorate would ask, “Who?”

Landslide? Not a realistic expectation.

Is INTERNAL TOAST similar to being on DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION?

More like being trapped in the bowels of the electorate. His immediate future is indeterminate ~ will it be the yellow or the brown bile ~ but his long term situation is easy to predict.

People don’t vote for vice presidents unless the candidate at the top of the ticket is 80 years old.

Yes, he would be a terrific choice but New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez might be an even better choice.

Then again McDonnell has DONE NOTHING to clear his name of charges that he and other top Republicans encouraged, tolerated or maybe even participated in activities engaged in by the Romney to distort the primary electoral process.

Does America need another cheater at the top ~ we already have one of those, and he's backed up by another idiot too.
