The ocean is a big place. New species get discovered every year. Usually it’s because something already ‘known’ was misclassified, or there was a redefinition as to what charactaristics defined a particular species.

It's not only proof of global warming, but as stated in the article as it was posted in Conservation Genetics: "Researchers say we could be seeing evidence of evolution in action.

I haven't seen such clear evidence for evolution since the neighbors AKC Pekingese got out while in heat and mated with the Poodle down the street.

Ok, this is no different than the deer in CA. The coastal deer, and most of the deer inland to the Sierras, are blacktail, a close relative of the Mule deer. They are smaller with a different tail than the Mule deer. However, when you get close to the Nevada border you have the two deer mating and making a hybrid, which are called black tail by the locals because they retain the blacktail characteristics but are bigger than the normal blacktail. In fact, they are so much bigger that when you kill a big blacktail in certain areas of CA you are not allowed to enter them into the record books because for all intents and purposes they are NOT black tail and they are NOT Mule deer but a species apart. This does not prove evolution, what it does prove is that similar species can interbreed and given the right circumstances they will.

I have seen this stupid headline on Yahoo weather page the last few days. Sharks, the living fossils, unchanged for 100's of millions of years through every climatic extreme possible have just found their living conditions unbearable now.

Is our planet being bombarded with Stupid Rays from outer space or something?

I've never heard anything so stupid in my life as the Global Warming BS. From the very first time I heard that CA had put limits on CO2 emissions in the early '90s I knew it was a scam. At first I thought the radio announcer had misspoken and had meant carbon monoxide that's how stupid the idea was to me.
