I’m not astonished at all. Any soda pop is acidic. They say Coke is good for cleaning the gunk off your car’s battery terminals.
Not astonished either, but reading about mouse carcasses dissolving in what you are currently drinking is decidedly unappetizing.
As I child in elementary school, we had one teacher who would place a child’s tooth (must have had a deal with the tooth fairy) into a clear class of cola and we watched in dismay as it slowly disappeared. Big lesson for little soda drinking wannabees. Back then soda was a once a week treat if that in our innocent world.
