Great way to get rid of the weeds, I will roundup the garden and start over again, I love having no weeds for 90 days! :-} I got a nice gift Cert from Burpee, Now I know what to do with it.. Lots of North Carolina RattleSnake Watermellons.. Damn are they good! I grew them last spring and I could not give them away, I had way to many of them.. I gave 5 of those huge things to my local church.. My son was taking them to work with him almost every day.. Wow are they sweet... It’s already 60 degrees today going to 70.. I guess I will unwrap the tomatoes and see if they made it. At 22 degrees I dont’ think they did... 22 degrees in South FL, Who would have thunk it! :-}

My father grew the striped Rattlesnake watermelons in the late 30s and 40s in FResno County Ca and they were good. We had so many that we could pick one, drop it and eat the heart out in the garden. He also grew one that I think was a Crimson Giant? Mother canned Watermelon rind near the end of the season. We are still getting seed catalogs and must have 23 or 24 now but Not all of them get used...
