Professionally Noory is top notch.
I am old enough to remember FDR. Especially FDR Democrats. Noory is old enough to be a FDR Democrat. He hates Republicans (IMO) though he himself is kind of conservative and a patriot like almost all FDR Democrats. They just hate "Daddy Warbucks" Republican.
Seems to me he's got a psycho hatred of the whole Bush family -- only about a month or two ago he's sill calling for the prosecution of G.W. for war crimes and guests continue to connect old Prescott to Adolph Hitler -- omitting mention of Prescott's boss W. Averell Harriman (November 15, 1891 July 26, 1986) Democratic Party politician, businessman, and diplomat.
More to the point, with Art, one could 'see' the wink and nod over the shoulders of the more out-there guests and callers.
Noory always seems like he totally buys whatever the caller is selling.
It's as if he doesn't quite have a fully functional critical thought/BS detector, something that my sad experience has shown to be common in all of the ME, regardless of Nationality or Faith.
". . . The following are clips from various columns, news articles and postings from the internet. I cannot, will not and am not interested in vouching for their veracity but I am compelled by the thematic nature of the content which at one time sounded ridiculous but now doesn't sound so crazy. Maybe still very unlikely, but you've got to give these people props for taking a stand on their predictions:
"Congressman John Olver Believes Bush Will Cancel 2008 Elections, Still Refuses to Support Impeaching Him or Cheney
"www.scoop.co.nz
"From Now Public.com
"Now that President G. W. Bush has meet with leader around the world, officially for his last tour, yet still trying to find Money and allies to attack yet another country . . . ." [End of quotes]
I posted comments opposing this silly nonsense along with criticism of his dismissing callers' concerns about Bill Ayers and Obama. Punnett spent a few minutes of on-air outrage that I didn't understand him -- he also thought I was the one who wrote to his bosses. I was not.
I understood what he said, he said: this "at one time sounded ridiculous but now doesn't sound so crazy" but he won't commit to it actually happening ("Maybe still very unlikely" that it would happen).
Mr. Punnett is another top notch pro and I was glad to hear that already his medical problems are responding to treatment. He just seems so Air America-ish -- how about a little more Tea Party (in fact how about at least mentioning it) and less Occupy Wall Street.
Just a remminder ping
