LOL I can picture that. Pepper use to be nose to nose with me and waited for me to say OK then she would take whatever was in my mouth...her deafness took care of that little trick....Newfie’s are big balls of fluff...I hear they are very gently....Hope your day was great and Happy new Year coming up......GG

Actually, my ball of fluff weighed in at 180 lbs. We dieted her down to a svelte 160 lbs. which was a good thing, because, when she was 13 years old, she developed progressive paralysis of her hind legs. I used to pick up her back end wheelbarrow-style and walk her out to the backyard when I came home from work. (I weighed in at 101 lbs. then, but I lifted weights so it was OK.) We were so fortunate that she lived such a long life. She was a great dog and she loved camping. My camping buddies got her a big red bow so that nobody would mistake her for a bear. When we were on the road, one of the truck drivers at a rest stop said, “You need a saddle.” *Sigh*
