Gingrich Gets Backing from Pro Adultery Website

In a blatant – and unavoidably successful – bid for publicity, extramarrital affairs website Ashleymadison.com has unveiled a giant billboard supporting the formerly philandering White House contender. It cheekily proclaims: “Faithful Republican… Unfaithful Husband,” reports the political website Think Progress.

The billboard – which had gone up roadside in Bucks County, Pennsylvania – comes complete with a picture of Gingrich with his finger on his lips in a “ssh” gesture. The surging GOP contender has an infamously checkered past when it comes to fidelity, with two of his three marriages ending in divorce after he had affairs with younger women.

The dating website – which adopts the tagline “Life is short, Have an affair” – has no qualms about the poster. “Now that Newt is the leading contender in the race for the GOP nomination, we felt compelled to make a point to illustrate how times have changed when a serial divorcee/adulterer is capturing the hearts of the American people,” said Noel Biderman, the founder of the cheaters website, as reported by Think Progress.

Perhaps Gingrich can take heart from the old advertising maxim: there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

Goes to show the rest of us just how deep into the smut hole you will dig, for negative slanderous rhetoric on Newt.

Classy dude, you are!

Thanks for an honest and well reasoned response. I understand your concern. I’m a firm believer in conscientious voting and believe its very important for all of us to take the responsibility seriously. Appears you do too, even though our personal criteria differ.

I like Newt but the GOPornographers will get him like they got Herman. All I can hope for now is a brokered convention.

I certainly agree. What ultimately matters is defeating Obama, but we all hope it happens via a conservative. Meanwhile, it would be nice if we could disagree over the optimal candidate w’out quite the level of acrimony we sometimes see. I just read on another Newt thread that the moonbats are laughing their butts off at us. It wouldn’t surprise me if this were true. They most love the thought of us going at each other instead of remembering that no matter what happens, it still comes down to conservatives vs liberals. I wish a credible challenger to Obama had surfaced but that didn’t happen. We’ll just have to sort through out field and our options as best we can, and pray our hearts out that Obama doesn’t get a second term.

This is clearly an AXELROD or MITT RONMEY move ...

Needed to be well-funded, with near-untraceable roots ... and birthed perhaps a year ago ... to make it look legitimate ...

Of course, I'vm eagerly awaiting for Time to report that:

1) President "Zero" endorsed by Farm Animal Fornicators

2) Mitt Romney endorsed by Evil Multiple-Wives Religious Cult

3) Ron Paul endorsed by Racist Libertarian Child-Molesters

4) Barney Frank endorsed by Little-Boy Bangers (NAMBLA)

Just tell 'em "NUTS !!!!!") .... Newt ...

Yeah, how dare a divorced candidate ever consider running for President?

Comparing Gingrich with Reagan? I am actually offended with this ludicrous suggestion.....Reagan did not commit adultery and certainly not Twice. Divorces happen but adultery is a moral failing. Gingrich is the man of the hour and if I need to vote for him in the Generals then I will. Lets not jump the shark though....

Well, I just see more and more judgmental people and most of them couldn't live up to their own standards. I was just commenting that we don't know what he did in the past and he says he has changed his life now. I don't hold the keys to Heaven so I try not to beat someone to death with Christianity. His first wives may have been un-Christian themselves to make him stray, we don't know, nor should we. His last wife had already asked for a divorce when the so called hospital incident happened. It's all speculation by back bitters if you ask me.

This sort of stuff is where "Republicans eat their own" comes from. I posit to the board here that if we end up with Romney, you won't be able to tell the difference from Obama. I would rather have Newt over Romney just for what he has done in the past,.....Balance the budget and reform welfare. I really don't care if he has been divorced. Many of my family and friends have been divorced. My wife and I are the only ones of her 5 siblings that hasn't been divorced. We still eat Thanksgiving with them.

I just know that if you don't like Newt, don't vote for him, but destroying someone is a little much especially when I could observe them for a day and destroy them like people are destroying Newt. It's just an exercise in cruelty. All of us fall short, as they say.

One more thing, I can't help but be suspicious of people telling me that Romney is inevitable and is the only one that can beat Obama. If what I think comes about, someone from the phone book can beat Obama in 12 months.

Remember, it’s ok when your candidate does it. That about covers it.

Dear chuckles, did you even read my post? It sounds like you’re responding to someone else. You didn’t address the single point I made, but you sure let loose on a spectrum of points I never touched on or even hinted at. Wow.

Here’s the part I like the best:

“His first wives may have been un-Christian themselves to make him stray,”

Poor Newt. With such witchy women, he had no choice but to stray. Gosh, you’ve got my sympathies flowing for him now! /s

So why did Reagan’s first wife divorce him?

If I remember correctly from my visit to the Reagan Library, she stated Irreconciable Differences, and I believe it came out that she did not like the fact that he was so enmeshed in politics and was always talking about it.
